He also said the VA would pay for any operation to keep them from reoccuring the future but I declined. did look back there but since they were not present at that time I guess it wasnt anything he could do. Maybe if was seen by someone who suffered from them then he could understand my pain. The fact that I have been seen by medical 6 different times during the first 2 years of my enlistment, granted SIQ, and even given narcotics for the pain shouldve atleats SC'd it IMO, but who knows how these things work. Ive been able to keep them under control with my diet and other old school remedies. That is by far the most painful thing I have ever had to endure. If they are waiting for them to show up again they can keep the rating and any percentage they might hand me. I hope I never have to show the VA my hemmorrhoids. I don't know the whole story but with the SMR you say you have for your hemorrhoids you ought to be sc'd and rated.
Your C&P is your link concerning your medical and mental disabilities to the rater who determines your rating. This report will give you a beter idea of what the examiner used, reported, or more importantly didn't report. There are some VAMC's who don't give them out. First call your VAMC Release of Information office and see if the report is available. I might suggest going to the VAMC you where you had your C&P and get a copy of your it. There are links here in the forum that will explain that for you. to prove a higher disability then a NOD is a consideration. If you feel you have medical documentation, service records, etc.
Each contention will also list the paperwork, reports, exams, etc.they used in making this rating. Since they had not tried to anything to reduce the swelling during my career he told me the VA would have to operate and fix it before they could grant any compensation for it. performing my examination had already given me a heads up about it. This comes as no surprise because the Dr. Im at work now so my package is at home but it was listed last as "deferred". The one thing that was deferred was my left index finger, I injured it back in 2006 and its been swollen ever since.
